We believe life is too short not to love what you do, live purposefully, have fun and make an impact.
Why? Because we know what it feels like!
We burned ourselves out trying to swim up someone else’s river.
We changed ourselves to fit into our environment, we questioned - and then quietened - our instincts, and we lost confidence in our abilities.
We wasted energy, got stressed and became worse versions of ourselves (that’s coaching speak for ‘we acted like dickheads’).
Eventually the nagging feeling that something needed to change grew strong enough and through a combination of intense introspection, a bucket load of time and money and a fair few wrong turns, we discovered the unbounded freedom and effortlessness of our true Untamed path!
We aligned our life and work with who we truly were and what inspired us, and reconnected with everything that makes life so f**king ace.

In 2010, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt famously said “Every two days, we create as much information as we did from the dawn of civilization up until 2003.”
Why then, with this incredible access to knowledge of what’s good for us, does the World Health Organisation report “a stagnation of health progress on key health indicators in recent years”?
The answer isn’t a lack of information, it’s the way we’re living:
- Far less outdoor time, far more screen time
- We live in more isolated bubbles
- We are bombarded with thousands of distractions every day
All this can leave us feeling stressed, disconnected and burnt out.
The 'A Day Away' series is my small but punchy antidote to all this noise.
What is it?
An annual series consisting of four, single day events spread over 12 months.
